Here’s what women (and men) like you ask before joining DHG.
Absolutely not. Durable Human Gym is designed for women and adults of all fitness levels. Our coaches modify every class based on your current strength, movement, and confidence level, so whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll get a safe, challenging workout that fits you.
Yes! DHG is ideal for beginners. Before you ever join a class, you’ll complete a 1:1 Movement Screen and a Barbell Session with a coach. In these sessions, we assess how you move, how comfortable you are with different lifts, and any limitations you may have.
Your coach takes notes and uses them to plan how to safely progress you in class, so you’re never thrown into something you’re not ready for.
Every class is designed with built-in progressions so we can scale intensity up or down based on the person. If our coaches see that you’re more experienced, they’ll adjust the weights, tempo, volume, or variations to make sure you’re challenged and progressing, not just repeating the same workouts.
If you prefer to work 1:1, we offer personal training sessions where you can train alone with a coach focused entirely on you.
